FORWARD THINKING AUTHOR

A SECOND CALLING

I retired in 2010 which is when I took up writing, which is what I’m doing now. I consider writing as a second calling or perhaps an extension of my life’s work. In my journey through life I have made some serious observations regarding human behavior and the human reaction to existing circumstances. There were a number of, what I considered world shaking things that I had hoped to get done. Perhaps the phrase “please remember me not for what I’ve done but for the other things I always meant to do” applies to why I have decided to write. Maybe all the things I didn’t get done in my career can be perfected in writing and others can gain from my vision. I truly hope that some of my dreams can be adopted by future generations and they will be able to benefit from them.

I have written four books of which, The Sky is Changing is the first one I have published. It has been made into an audiobook; I hope you will take the time to listen to it and that it will either make you think or make you angry, as it is raw. I believe that most of us know what the problems are but we don’t have real solutions for them so we are frustrated and angry. I hope to open some minds and release some of that pressure!

A MESSAGE FROM AUTHOR EONJE RIGHT

Generation after generation African Americans have begun their lives with meager assets. Despite great ideas, enthusiasm and energy have been forced to primarily play dependent roles for their bread and butter. Whether it was the Vice President of Negro Relations or the Janitor, there exists a dependency on White American companies for daily survival.

After the battles of the 1960’s and jobs became available to African Americans the blacks hired were those who did not do the fighting! Primarily because they were less threatening. The same characteristics prized in slavery.

Who knows whether these hires were made consciously or out of tradition (best practices) as to what constitutes a good Negro. However, I do know the result has been dependency and an underlying fear of disturbing the Gravy Train.

The jobs of today require specific training and expertise while our kids are making too much money in the drug trade, receiving too little home training, wearing their pants below their IQ and 50% are dropping out of high school.

Things are still at the point, for too many, that each generation is starting with little or nothing. There is no point in rehashing the problem. All of what exists has been predicted. H. Ross Perot told us the manufacturing jobs were going to leave and we kept our heads in the sand. We have known for decades the damage the welfare system has done to our families, but we kept our heads in the sand.

No one needs to cite again the failures African Americans have experienced in education. Get your heads out of the sand! God told the Prophet Ezekiel that the people would not hear his message until they had been brought to their knees. Ezekiel was sent by God to the Valley of the Dry Bones to Prophesy to them and so he did. But they were slow to respond so God told Ezekiel to tell it to the wind. Hear the wind blowing, see the Sky Changing; change your mind, change your strategy, change your tactics and change your circumstances!!!

TESTIMONIALS

"Right makes his case for polygamy as a solution to racial disparities in America. The legalization and a subsequent social embrace of polygamy, the author suggests, would solve these issues and more. In Right’s ideal family, which he bases on a “Lion pride,” “a single male would mate with many females” and protect them. Women would be responsible for raising their offspring. Such an arrangement applied to humans would supplant the need for a welfare state (which the author laments has replaced men),create more stable homes, secure financial stability through the pooling of incomes, and placate both Black men and women. The book devotes significant attention to justifying polygamy through legal, moral, and religious arguments. For instance, the book argues that monogamy is a European construct unnatural to African or Arabic societies and has only been embraced by African Americans who want “to remake the black male in the image of the white male.” Readers will not question the author’s passion for Black families and may share his dismay at measurable racial disparities.
